D’Fontana opened its doors in 1998 in Jacksonville Beach, FL to a crowd of welcoming guests. Neighbors appreciated the fresh ingredients, pizza dough made from scratch, housemade sauces & authentic Italian recipes. Despite moving to their current location in Green Cove Springs in 2008, friends & neighbors from the old neighborhood still shine around to pull up a chair to some of the finest Italian dishes around.

Wonderful food – Spaghetti carbonara- fresh, hot, tasty. Linguine shrimp delicious. Dinners served with house salads, bread. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Limited on street park. Some parking behind building and also across the street in shopping center. Italian decor. Beautiful paintings. Clean.

BEST PASTA CARBONARA EVER!!!NO chain can match the authenticity you get here. I’m from Jacksonville fl and I travel here, never tried anything else cause well…I didn’t want too lol!!

Excellent Italian food
I was here with a party of five and we went to town with everything from chicken piccata to pizza to a few pasta dishes. I didn’t try a single thing I didn’t want to devour. My own sausage and spaghetti featured incredible house-made sausage. The wine list is limited, but you can’t go wrong with the Chianti with red sauces.
